Questions people ask
What does a reverse phone lookup show?
The area code and prefix tell us the city or exchange the number was issued in and the carrier that owns the block. We add whether it looks like a mobile, landline or VoIP line and any reports from other people.
Does it work for Canadian numbers?
Yes. Canada is our focus. All 28,769 in-service Canadian prefixes from the Canadian Numbering Administrator are included and refreshed daily, alongside US prefixes from NANPA.
Why does a number show no carrier?
If the prefix has never been assigned to any carrier, the number cannot be real. That usually means the caller ID was spoofed or you mistyped a digit.
Can I find out who owns a phone number?
Not here. We do not show names or addresses. For a known business, compare the number with the one printed on their website or your bill.
